Maybe you have heard the saying “Abs are made in the kitchen.”  The fact is that 80% of our body composition is due to the nutrients we choose to put into our bodies and 20% is from exercise.

Most people, if asked about their diet, will say, “I eat healthy.”  Some will even say, “I don’t eat a lot but still gain weight.”  When asked exactly what they eat they usually don’ t have a specific answer.  What they PERCEIVE the are eating is, many time, vastly different than what they are ACTUALLY eating.

By being mindful of each bite you take, you begin to recognize unconscious patterns and habits.
